Why use QuoteX?
If you're still quoting cleaning jobs the way you always have — driving out, eyeballing it, texting a number — here's what actually changes, and why it's worth changing.
Every feature on this page is included on every QuoteX plan — Starter, Crew, or Business. The only difference between plans is how many quotes you send each month; nothing here is locked behind a higher tier.
Why not just drive out and quote it yourself?
Driving out to look at a job before quoting it works. It's how most cleaning businesses have always done it, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to see a place before you put a number on it. Plenty of tools can now price a job from a client's photos instead — that's not unique to QuoteX anymore, and we're not going to pretend it is. What actually decides whether a job made money isn't how the quote got written. It's everything that happens between your client saying yes and you actually getting paid for it — and that's what the rest of this page is about.
Stop losing jobs to whoever answers first
Indicative price — not final
The second your client sends photos, they get a real number back — even if you're asleep, on another job, or just haven't got to it yet. You still check and adjust every line before anything's confirmed and sent. And getting to that first number doesn't take an app or an account — they just tap a link, in their own language.
Stop chasing your own money
The job's done, and that's usually when the real work starts — a text, a call, an invoice you hope gets paid before you have to chase it again. For card-paying clients, QuoteX skips that step entirely: they save a card when they accept the quote, nothing's charged yet, and the moment you mark the job complete, the charge fires automatically — no invoice to write, no following up. Cash still works exactly as it always has for clients who'd rather pay that way. And if a card is ever declined, you find out immediately, not weeks later.
No more doorstep arguments when the job's dirtier than the photos
You open the oven and it hasn't been touched since before the listing photos were taken. Historically that's meant one of two bad options — clean it for free and eat the time, or have an awkward conversation on the doorstep about money before you've even started. QuoteX's arrival check gives you a third option: photograph what's actually different from the original photos, price it, and send it to your client as a written request. They approve or decline before you touch it — no guessing, no confrontation. Decline it, and you clean to the original quote, nothing more, no argument either way.
The small stuff that adds up
None of this is the headline reason to switch — but it's the difference between software that helps and software that also looks and feels like it belongs to your business.
- Every quote, variation notice, and completion confirmation goes out under your business name and ABN — not a generic template with someone else's logo on it.
- Regular clients — weekly, fortnightly — get booked back in automatically. You're not re-quoting or re-confirming the same job every time it comes around.
What QuoteX is, and isn't
QuoteX is software that helps you quote, schedule, and get paid — it's not a cleaning company, and it doesn't do the job for you. The price it suggests from your client's photos is always a starting point, not a final answer: you review every line before anything is sent, and nothing is charged without your client's own written approval first. QuoteX doesn't hold your money, doesn't supervise your work, and doesn't get between you and your client if something needs sorting out directly. It's there to remove the admin, not the judgment calls — those are still yours.
Also included
- One link to share — text, group chat, or a QR code on the van.
- Priced from your own rates, not someone else's formula.
- Your client gets updates automatically at each stage — you're not writing the same texts every time.
Common questions
Do all QuoteX plans include the same features?
Yes. Starter, Crew, and Business include everything on this page — the arrival-check approval flow, automatic payment on completion, branded documents, recurring bookings, all of it. The only difference between plans is how many quotes you can send each month.
Is the price my client sees first the price they pay?
No — and that's deliberate. The number your client gets the moment they submit photos is clearly marked as a starting estimate, not a final price. You review and can adjust every line before you send the confirmed quote they actually book from.
Do I have to use QuoteX for card payments?
No. Cash and bank transfer work without any setup. Card payment is available if you want it — connect Stripe from Settings — but it's optional, not required.
What happens if a client disputes a completed job?
They can raise it through their review link at any time. QuoteX notifies you so you can sort it out directly — we don't hold funds or mediate the dispute ourselves.
Do my clients need to download anything?
No. They tap your link in a browser — no app, no account, no password.
